Confession......

So, I have a confession to make....we got a letter from Kaitlin.....LAST WEEK..... and I found it............THIS MORNING!!!....sitting in the middle of a pile of "junk mail" on the couch.  ( Luckily, she didn't need anything right away. )

In my defense:

First, and foremost, we have a new mailman.  The old mailman ALWAYS separated the real mail from the junk mail and put it in the front.  I thought I had no reason to look beyond the first glossy flier.

Second, Kaitlin told me before she left not to expect a lot of snail mail from her.

Third, It came on Friday.  I wasn't expecting to hear ANYTHING yet.

The lessons I have learned:

I can no longer trust the mailman to separate my mail for me.  I will be much more thorough from here on out (Luckily I never throw the "junk mail" out in a pile. I always do it one piece at a time)

Maybe dumping mail on the couch isn't the best option :)

It's time to push for more thorough "job" cleaning. (That pile sat there UNTOUCHED for 6 whole days..ugh)

We also learned today that today is her P-day.  So hopefully we will get an email.....if not I will  look at every piece of mail that we receive :)
